Recipients of the PRISM Award embody Positivity, Resilience, Inclusivity, Servant-leadership, and Magnanimity (PRISM). Each year Rainbow Network members nominate others based on the following criteria, four individuals are then chosen and honored at our Rainbow Camp event each fall.
Each candidate considered for nomination are evaluated using four criteria:
How has the diversity of their LGBTQ+ community been represented and uplifted by their actions?
How have they broken new ground by leading, growing or exploring initiatives in non-traditional ways? How are they champions for inclusivity, diversity and equality?
How has their leadership or initiative impacted an audience who may have not been exposed to LGBTQ+ issues? Do they also embody the W4C2TS? How have they consistently shown a track-record of coming from contribution.
Throughout the year, has the associate consistently led with Positivity, Resilience, Inclusivity, Servant-leadership, and Magnanimity?
